About me
For many years, I have been a passionate photographer. To me, photography is more than just a technique: it is a language that tells stories and captures people authentically. Every face, every person, can tell a story in an image—making you pause, linger, and feel. My focus is on portrait photography in all its facets, primarily in black and white. Whether digital or large-format analog, each image is created in dialogue with the person in front of the lens, in the moment of encounter.
Born and raised in Germany, I have published photo books that reflect my perspective on people, diversity, and personal impressions. For me, photography is not just a craft, but an attitude—a special way of seeing and reflecting the world.
Über mich
Seit vielen Jahren bin ich leidenschaftlicher Fotograf. Für mich ist Fotografie mehr als bloße Technik: Sie ist eine Sprache, die Geschichten erzählt und Menschen authentisch einfängt. Jedes Gesicht, jeder Mensch kann in einem Bild eine Geschichte erzählen – einen Moment, in dem man innehalten, verweilen und fühlen kann. Mein Fokus liegt auf der Porträtfotografie in all ihren Facetten, meist in Schwarzweiß. Ob digital oder im analogen Großformat – jedes Bild entsteht im Dialog mit dem Gegenüber, im Moment der Begegnung.
Geboren und aufgewachsen in Deutschland, habe ich Bildbände veröffentlicht, die meine Sicht auf den Menschen, ihre Vielfalt und meine persönlichen Eindrücke widerspiegeln. Für mich ist Fotografie nicht nur Handwerk, sondern eine Haltung – eine besondere Art, die Welt zu sehen und zu reflektieren.
